AI designs products and growth strategies faster than ever

AI workflows from Eddie Yoon on rapid campaigns, product R&D, and agentic teams.

The definition of a “growth team” is changing fast. AI is shifting what CMOs, founders, and operators can accomplish in a single meeting.

In this episode of This New Way, growth leader Eddie Yoon (NP Digital) shows us how he can walk into a meeting, copy a competitor’s entire ad library into ChatGPT, and spin up a full creative strategy in under 30 minutes.

🧰 Tools mentioned in this episode

  • ChatGPT / GPT 4 and 5 range models - For analyzing competitor ads, generating campaign strategies, and writing hooks and scripts.

  • Meta Ads Library - To see every ad a brand is running and copy entire pages of creative and copy.

  • Reeve - Image generation tool for realistic product and lifestyle visuals, similar to Midjourney.

  • Midjourney style static image generators - For mood boards and concept visuals.

  • VO3 - For motion / video generation.

  • Nano Banana - More advanced image and creative tools that Eddie jokingly calls “too powerful” for the demo.

  • Semrush and similar tools - For search and spend intelligence.

  • SocialPeta and other creative intel tools - Previously used, now often replaced by GPT driven analysis.

  • Instagram Trial Reels - To test creatives organically with new audiences before spending.

  • Fellow.ai - AI meeting assistant and AI chief of staff that records, summarizes, and connects meeting insights to the rest of your stack.

Tutorial 1: Audit a Competitor & Pitch a Campaign

Here is how to go from "blank page" to "pitch deck" in one session.

Step 1: The "Select All" Hack

Go to the Meta Ad Library and search for your competitor. Filter by "Active Ads."

  • Scroll down until you have a few dozen ads loaded.

  • Press Ctrl + A (or Cmd + A) to select all text on the page.

  • Copy it. (Don't worry if it looks messy).

Step 2: The Analysis

Paste that messy text directly into ChatGPT. Ask it to analyze the data:

"Analyze this data from Meta Ad Library. Tell me the creative themes, format variations, and their strengths/weaknesses."

Step 3: The Board-Level Idea

Ask ChatGPT to turn that analysis into a high-stakes pitch.

"I am presenting to our CEO. Based on the competitor analysis, give me 5 brilliant campaign ideas that will help us beat them. Pick the best one and explain why it will work."

Step 4: The Visuals

Ask ChatGPT to write an image prompt for the winning idea. Paste that prompt into an image generator (like Reeve or Midjourney) to create a mood board that proves you understand the brand aesthetic.

Tutorial 2: Turn Concepts into Viral Scripts

Once you have the big idea, you need to test it. Here is how to generate content quickly.

Step 1: Generate Hooks

Feed your winning concept from Tutorial 1 back into ChatGPT.

"You are a senior marketer. Generate 10 short video hooks for this concept. Make them punchy and categorize them by angle (e.g., 'Contrarian', 'Social Proof', 'Problem/Solution')."

Step 2: Script the Winners

Pick the best 3 hooks and turn them into scripts.

"Turn these 3 hooks into 15-second TikTok scripts. Include scene descriptions, on-screen text, and voiceover lines. Keep it simple enough to film in an office."

Step 3: Test

Don't spend big budget yet. Film these scripts simply (even on a phone) and post them as organic Reels or TikToks.

  • Feed the results (views, retention) back into ChatGPT.

“Here are the results of 10 scripts. Analyze what worked, what failed, and generate 5 new hooks that double down on the winners.”

Step 4: Score Concepts

Ask ChatGPT to score concepts.

“Using a 100 point scale, score each creative based on its potential if we gave it more budget. Anything under 85 is not worth discussing. Anything above 95 is a ‘winner’ candidate.”

The outputs should now be 90 percent of the way there. A senior marketer can make the final calls on what to scale, what to rework, and what to kill.

AI is not just a “creative tool” anymore. It is a way to run faster experiments, reduce risk in product decisions, and help your exec team ship bolder ideas with confidence.
